The Department of Pharmacology, Liaquat College of Medicine and Dentistry (LCMD), organized a Poster Competition to provide students with a platform to demonstrate their academic knowledge, scientific creativity, and enthusiasm for learning. The event featured an impressive display of student-prepared posters covering a range of pharmacological topics. Through this activity, students had the opportunity to translate their theoretical knowledge into creative scientific presentations while developing their skills in critical thinking, research, communication, and academic presentation. The competition was organized by Prof. Dr. Zareen, with the active support and participation of the faculty members of the Department of Pharmacology. The event was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Iteffaq Hussain, Head of the Department of Pharmacology, College of Medicine, and Dr. Asiya Rehman, Head of the Department of Pharmacology, College of Dentistry. The posters were evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges, including Prof. Dr. Nazeer Solangi, Former Head of Department, LNHMC, and Prof. Dr. Farah Javed, Dean of Basic Sciences, Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU). Their valuable academic expertise, observations, and constructive feedback provided students with an enriching learning experience. The event reflected LCMD’s commitment to academic excellence, student-centered learning, and the development of scientific and professional competencies among future healthcare professionals.
