Liaquat College of Medicine and Dentistry (LCMD), Karachi event organising committee organized an insightful session titled "Pakistan Hameesha Zindaabad- Magur Kaisey?" at the College Auditorium Hall as part of the Marka-e-Haq Anniversary Celebrations. The session focused on the importance of national sovereignty and self reliance. Speakers highlighted the May 2025 India–Pakistan skirmish and the growing influence of media narratives in shaping public perception during times of conflict. The talk was delivered by Prof. Khalid Amin, a distinguished teacher and researcher affiliated with the University of Karachi. The participants appreciated the informative and thought-provoking session conducted. The other speaker was the Defence Analyst Brig. (Retd.) M. B. Tahir Malik. Faculty members, students, and administrative officials attended the event and actively engaged in the discussion. At the conclusion of the session, Prof. Khalid Amin was presented with an appreciation souvenir by Mr. Hamza Chisthi (Director DSH/LCMD) along with Principal LCMD (COM) Prof. Dr. Rashid Naseem Khan. The event reflected LCMD & DSH continued commitment to promoting intellectual discourse and critical thinking among students and academia. The session was moderated by the Prof. Dr. Abdul Malik.
